Crescut in academia clubului, atacantul de 18 ani a avut impact instant in dupa ce si-a facut aparitia pe teren in meciul de Cupa cu Dinamo. Mai intai, Dumitru a scapat singur cu portarul si a ratat incredibil, in minutul 60. Mingea a sarit la Petre, care a trimis cu capul, iar un fundas dinamovist a scos de pe linie!
Apoi, Dumitru a pasat decisiv pentru reusita lui Olaru din minutul 74, pentru ca 8 minute mai tarziu sa puncteze si el! Dumitru a profitat de gafele penibile din apararea lui Dinamo la o degajare trimisa de Vlad, a scapat singur si l-a executat pe Piscitelli! Dumitru l-a intors superb pe Ricardo Grigore, apoi l-a batut fara probleme pe goalkeeperul italian!
